Certifications

Certified wood means that the wood is proven to meet certain standards and environmental targets. Read more about all the certifications here.

Frøslev painted wood is available in different variants

Our painted profiles generally consist of certified spruce on which the paint adheres particularly well to the rough surface.

You can also choose Abodo, pine or Embla ThermoWood – for the latter, we recommend the paintcut surface.

Maintenance

How to maintain painted profiles

After installation, the profiles must receive a final treatment to cover any screw holes and cuts. It strengthens the wood in relation to the elements and ensures a long life.

The wood then only needs to be maintained as needed which depends on weather conditions, structural protection such as overhangs, north/south facing façades, wear and so on.

We use water-based paints and also recommend this for the final treatment.

How we produce Frøslev painted wood

All of our products are primed and painted in our own industrial painting plant. The system is fully automatic and performs the painting process in one routine with minimal manual handling. This ensures uniform application and very precise thickness of layers on the wood.

The colours black RAL 9005 and white RAL 9010 are available, but we can solve all tasks in all RAL or NCS colours on request.

Please note that the profiles are not finished, and minor handling and punch marks may occur. They will disappear after the last surface treatment that is done after installation.

The range covers the following product groups:

  • Façade profiles
  • Multi boards
  • Fascia boards
  • Overhang boards
  • System fence profiles

They have in common that they have been primed once on all four sides and painted once on the front and on two edges. However, the system fence profiles are painted once on all four sides.
