In 2019, the housing association Boligforening Afb. Enhøj opened their new vehicle shelters and sheds that were built at the 20 existing terraced houses. The goal was to create a beautiful connection between the already existing terraced houses and the new building. Wood from Frøslev realised that goal.

The vehicle shelters and sheds are built of Frøslev Embla ThermoWood pine. It adds the pretty, light colour that will patinate over time into a silver-grey shade, making them blend into the existing houses.

ThermoWood is treated with heat, giving the boards the characteristic colour while at the same time protecting the wood against the elements with no use of toxins and harmful gases.

The new building was designed by architect Kim Thorsell Architects, and the pictures were taken by photographer Helen Høyer Mikkelsen.
