Varbergparken

In 2010-2016, Varbergparken in Haderslev was thoroughly renovated to add new life to the buildings from 1980. The social housing currently comprises more than 500 flats. The residential complex has a beautiful location overlooking the town of Haderslev and the fjord, but the buildings needed a facelift to attract new tenants.

Following renovation, the buildings looked razor-sharp with a beautiful design and a modern touch. The façades and balconies have features made of brown-impregnated pine from Frøslev Træ. The profiles were specially developed for this project to add an exclusive look, and they all have a rough surface.

The combination of the dark, golden brown wood and the white panels on the rest of the building creates a nice play between natural and modern materials. Architect CF Møller was behind the complete renovation of the many homes together with contractor Tømrer & Snedkerfirma Egil Rasmussen A/S.
