In 2014, 24 low-energy houses were ready in Teglparken in Holstebro. The houses were built on beautiful, natural grounds that leave the new building in beautiful relief to the surrounding, green areas.

The annexes and some of the details of the houses were built with Frøslev Embla ThermoWood. These are special profiles that were developed specifically for this project to give the houses and annexes an exclusive look.

ThermoWood is an exciting material to work with. It is heat-treated with no use of toxins and harmful gases, resulting in very good durability while giving the wood the characteristic, golden brown shade. Over time, the wood will patinate into a silver-grey shade.

A2 Arkitekterne A/S designed the new Teglparken. When you visit Teglparken as a passer-by, you can easily understand why the project won Holstebro Municipality’s Architecture Award in 2015.
