In 2019, this beautiful, private villa from 1867 was rebuilt, and a new extension was added. It was extended with a living room and a new kitchen/dining area. There is an exciting play between wood and brick where the extension meets the original villa. The result is a beautiful façade that you will not see anywhere else.

The wood used on the garden side of the house is Frøslev Embla ThermoWood. ThermoWood ash gives the characteristic, light colour that will patinate over time into a beautiful, silver-grey shade.

Kim Thorsell Architects designed the extensive renovation and extension to the unique villa, and the building was also recommended for the RENOVATION Award 2020 for its impressive transformation.
