The terrace was finished in 2018 and is clad with Canadian cedar. The terrace is so special because it is made of knotty cedar from Frøslev Træ. Knotty cedar means that you get the same good quality and durability as with all terraces from Frøslev but at a lower price.

Knotty cedar comes from the core of the tree trunk. The wood has a slightly harder surface which is good for terrace boards. The unique look of the many knots also guarantees that no one else will get exactly the same terrace as this one.

To combine the rest of the garden with the terrace, wooden stairs leading down to the green areas have been inserted. Thus, nature is still very close to the beautiful house while the terrace becomes a natural addition to the garden.

The building owner behind the project was the private owner of the house. In combination with the knotty cedar from Frøslev Træ, a beautiful and useful terrace has been set up, so there is plenty of room for family fun and long summer evenings in the Danish nature.
