Korskærparken
In 2014, new garden fences and windbreaks were erected around the residential complex of Korskærparken, division 10 in Fredericia. The purpose of the fences was to protect the residents from prying eyes but also from the hard wind that is sometimes experienced in Denmark.
The fences are made of special profiles from Frøslev Wood, Embla ThermoWood in pine. It gives the characteristic light expression that can be seen in the pictures. ThermoWood is an interesting material as it is heat-treated with no use of toxins and harmful gases, so it remains nice and useful for a long time in the Danish weather.
Architect Kristine Jensen Tegnestue designed the new garden fences and windbreaks which offer the residents of Korskærparken, division 10, privacy and shelter from the Danish weather.
