In Rødby, nestled between the Fehmarn Belt, the beach, and woodland, lies Hages Seaside Hotel, built in 2021. The hotel consists of 72 buildings connected by a wooden deck. Both the buildings and the deck are built on stilts, hovering half a metre above the ground. This design preserves the existing vegetation and minimises the impact on the natural surroundings. Each dwelling is positioned with a view of the stunning nature and wildlife, where small lakes, bridges, and pathways wind through the newly crafted landscape.

The wooden deck connecting the hotel’s buildings is made from our light Frøslev Sature®, a silicate-impregnated, high-quality pine from certified Nordic forests.
