The new cancer consultation in Skejby offers views of the forest and fields and was opened in 2021. The construction, in particular the beautiful, green colour, perfectly combines the building and the surrounding nature, allowing both to exist in harmony.

Painted spruce profiles from Frøslev Træ were used for the façade. They are primed on 4 sides and have subsequently been painted once, resulting in the beautiful and characteristic green colour that adorns the façade.

Cancer consultation sessions are never easy, and it is therefore important to allow patients and their families a sense of harmony and peace when arriving at the building. That is the idea behind the soft green colour and the pure lines of the wood.

Architect Clays Pryds designed the new building in Skejby. The result is a cancer consultation building that does not compromise on functionality or design and look.
